Everything looked so much brighter now. The night glowed with a bluish tone. The blanket of sand that we laid on felt like soft velvet and the cold began to dissipate. I let go of all the tension in my body. Everything welcomed and comforted me. Like a young child in the arms of a mother, I was nestled in the natural elements of the beach. The sound of the waves and rustling palm trees soothed me.

I shifted my eyes to the grand stage before me, the ocean water swayed in slow motion glittering under the moonlight like a bright sapphire. The white foam in the tide formed and dissolved as waves crashed and spilled.
